This card makes me feel so happy and brings a smile to my face everytime I look at it. I love the bright colours used and how the lemon lolly colour pops. The card bases were a free product from sale-a-brations a couple of years ago, and I am so glad I managed to get a pack, as they sold out very quickly. I used an old die set to create the bouquet, which works perfectly with the cheerful daisies dies.

Cheerful Daisies Card

Simple Wreath Card
I love the irresistible blooms dies, my favourite is the circular die, as I think it makes a lovely simple wreath. I have paired it with the cheerful daisies dies and I love the end result. I wanted to keep the colours subtle for this card, since I was working with a crumb cake base.

Cardstock: Crumb cake, whisper white, basic black, soft sea foam, pistachio pudding & bubble bath

Brightest Beauty Card
Sharing another wattle card, but this time I am not using the traditional wattle colours, as I wanted to do something different. I used the candy canes background die and cut the die-cut piece diagonally in half and layered that over some white glimmer card stock.
My card is simple enough that it can be used for any occasion.

Dies: Golden beauty, candy cane & bouquet bunch
Cardstock: Whisper white & white glimmer paper

Sketch Challenge Card
Since Valentine's Day is only 10 days away, I am sharing a card that will be suitable for the ocassion. I made this card for a sketch challenge for one of my up-line meetings I attended. We are always given either a sketch or colour challenge to complete and bring along to the meeting to share with everyone. I really loved this sketch challenge as it was my style of card I like to make.
For the tag component, I was inspired by one that Madeleine Mrotzek made, but used different colours and changed the sentinment. Madeleine is very talented and makes stunning cards and tags and she often uses beautiful rainbow colours in her work.

Brightest Beauty Card
I was thrilled to see an Australian stamp set in last year's mini catalogue, as most of the stamp sets are very Americanised and are not always suitable. When I saw the Australian wattle, I knew I had to purchase this one. I also loved that it came with dies as well, as I didn't fancy fussy cutting this one out by hand.
I did the traditional wattle colours for my card, but will try some different colours down the track for the flowers. My card is simple enough that it can be used for any occasion.
Products used
Dies: Golden beauty
Cardstock: Whisper white & gold metallic specialty paper
DSP: Tasty treats
Inks: Garden green & daffodil delight

Climbing Orchid Card
I am one of those demonstrators that holds onto most stamps sets that I have purchased, as you just never know when you'll need them. This card shows the use of the 'Jar of Love' and the 'Climbing Orchid' stamp sets...both favourites sets of mine! I love the colours and simplicity of the orchid sitting in the jar.

Happiness Abounds Card
So my favourite products in the new annual catalogue is definitely the 'Happiness Abounds' stamp set and matching dies, as well as the coordinating DSP. I love how the dies fit perfectly to cut out the beautiful flowers on 4 sheets of the DSP. I really hope Stampin Up continue to make their DSP coordinate perfectly with dies for all future products, as this just give another option to making super quick cards...specially suitable for time-poor people.
I have seen many teacup designs recently using these lovely flowers, so decided to make a few quick cards using this process. I don't have the new teacup bundle, nor am I going to purchase it, as I already have the 'A Nice Cuppa' stamp set with the coordinating dies which I prefer. This card can be used for many occasions.
Products used
Stamps: a nice cuppa
Scalloped edge: penned flowers dies
Sentiment: a nice cuppa
Embellishments: brights enamel shapes
Splendid Thoughts Card
I really love the 'Splendid Thoughts' stamp set and coordinating dies, and the matching DSP is beautiful. Below is a card that uses all three products, and I used the purple 'Glossy Dots' for the bling, which finished the card off nicely.
Products used
Dies: Splendid stems
Cardstock: Fresh freesia, smoky slate & whisper white
DSP: Splendid day
Sentiment: Splendid thoughts

Snailed It All Occasions Card
I absolutely love the 'Snailed It' stamp set and coordinating dies, but am sad that SU retired this set so quickly. This is one of those sets that I will continue to use and will keep for quite some time. This set always makes me smile, and since I still post many cards by snail mail, it is the perfect set to use.
I cased the below card from Jeanna Bohanon, however I didn't want to have a card as long as hers, so made some changes to shorten it. I also changed the sentiment, but used similar colours as I really like the rainbow effect on cards.

All Occasions Card
I have my first club night for the year next week, and this is one of the cards we will be making. I will be show casing the new 'Basic Border Dies' which will be available for purchase on 4 May.
For this card I have used my favourite border in the set, it's my favourite because I can do two different borders with the one die. I die cut 2 borders, one in daffodil delight, and one in white, which was a larger piece so I could use it for the background. For the white border, I simply trimmed off the small scalloped edges and then placed this piece over the top of the daffodil delight piece.
The patterned background and flower I used, is from the 'True Love' DSP. I coloured the flower with my daffodil delight and granny apple green blender pens. I used 'Gorgeous Grunge' stamp set (now retired) for the ink splatter behind the flower. I also coloured some old clear glitter enamel dots (also retired) with my daffodil delight blender pen to make the bling pop a little more on the card.
Forever & Always Mother's Day Card
Well, it is only one week until Mother's Day here in Australia, so I have one last Mother's day card to share. I was inspired by Anna Pickering's card, as I have wanted to use the beautiful gold leaves and gold embellishment hoops that I purchased ages ago.
I changed the card quite a bit, I used the small flower from the "Forever & Always' stamp set, and used different colours for the background wash and flower. I also added a different sentiment, some bling, linen thread and a couple of strips of DSP from the 'True Love' series.

Apron of Love Mother's Day Card
The 'Apron of Love' stamp set and coordinating dies have retired, but I still love using this set to create cards. My mum is a pretty good cook and she is the best mum ever, so this card is very fitting for her.
I also love this colour combination, and have used it for other cards in the past.

Mother's Day Card
Mother's Day is just around the corner here in Australia, so the next couple of posts I will be sharing will be for all the wonderful mothers out there!
I adore my mum, and can't wait to make her another beautiful card...and I know she loves them too!
For this card, I was inspired by another card from Steffi Helmschrott (I think she is my favourite Stampin Up demonstrator that I like to case from). There wasn't too much that I wanted to change (apart from the sentiment), as the card is perfect just the way it is.

Dragonfly Dreams Card
I love it when bright colours are used together to create a rainbow effect. I cased this card from Steffi Helmschrott, and when I first saw her card, I knew I had to give it a go. I did make some slight changes to mine to make it my own, and I am pretty happy with how it turned out.

Sending Love Card
Since I am unable to visit my parents for the next little while, I will be sending this card to them, just so they know that I am thinking of them during this time.

Pansy Punch Mother's Day Card
Whilst my layout is similar, I changed the colours, flower and the sentiment. I also layered 4 die cuts together for the flower stem, petals and the love sentiment, to give it a bit more dimension.

A Nice Cuppa Card
I love how simple and clean this card looks and it's super quick and easy to make.
