Masculine Fishing Card

Father's day is just around the corner, so I wanted to share a cascade card that I made a couple of years ago, using the "By the Tide" stamp set which is now retired. You can find my cascade card instructions here, please ensure you scroll down to the bottom of the page.

I made the fishing rods by hand, using a long strip of card stock and several circle punches which I used for the reel and to thread the bakers twine through so that it would resemble fishing line.

I did plenty of fussing cutting for the fish and sea horses, which took a bit of time, but made the end result well worth it.

Cascade Cards

I think this style of card suits those special occasions, such as weddings, engagements, anniversaries and important birthdays, like a 18th, 21st, or 40th etc.

You can find my instructions on how to make these cascade cards under "My Tutorials" at the bottom of the page. Please note the measurements are for Australian paper sizes only (not American).

I made this Christmas cascade card in one of my upline classes.

Here are two more examples for 40th Birthdays!

Wedding Card with WOW Factor!

This wedding cascade card is my favourite of all the cascade cards that I have made. It is a complicated card that takes approximately 2-3 hours to complete. This card has so much "wow factor" because it has so many elements to look at.

You can find my instructions on how to make these cascade cards under "My Tutorials" at the bottom of the page. Please note the measurements are for Australian paper sizes only (not American).
