Sailing Home Masculine Card

The 'Sailing Home' stamps and dies are still one of my favourite sets to use for masculine cards. I cased the below card from Susanne Rehm but made some changes to make it my own.

Using this sentiment, makes it a perfect card for a graduation card.

Products used

Stamps: Sailing home
Dies: Smooth sailing & stitched nested labels
Cardstock: Whisper white & balmy blue
DSP: Come sail away
Inks: Night of navy
Markers: Balmy blue & smokey slate
Sentiment: Sailing home
Embellishments: Sail away trinkets & baker's twine

Sailing Home Card

I am so glad the 'Sailing Home' stamp set and coordinating dies are still current Stampin Up items, as I have so many cards to share using this set.

I was inspired by Lauren Alarid's card as I loved the colour scheme she used. I did change the orientation of the card, the sentiment and a couple of other little embellishments, but overall my card is very similar.

Follow your dreams Card

I just love the 'Follow your dreams' stamp set, even though it is now retired, I still get plenty of use from this set. It's pertfect for birthday cards or graduation cards...and what girl doesn't love dream catchers.

I was inspired by Steffi Helmschrott's card and only made a few subtle changes. I really love the gold embossed tips of the feathers which you can see well in the second image.

Graduations Cards

Both my kids graduated at the end of last year and these are the cards I made for them. I am very proud of their achievements. I made these cards using the blue ribbon stamp set from Stampin Up.
