A Starry Christmas

Today's theme is stars, stars and more stars.....

I wanted to share 3 Christmas cards all made using different star stamps or dies. The below card was cased from Jenni Pauli. I kept the style very similar, however my card is a different size and I used a different sentiment and star stamps.

I cased this card from Chris Slogar. I used the same colours, but changed the stamps, sentiment, doily, embellished trim and the way it was arranged.

I was inspired by Lisa Johnson's card for this one. Lisa is not a SU demonstrator, so no Stampin Up products were used to make her card. My challenge was to achieve a similar result, but using Stampin Up products instead.

Christmas Fancy Favour Box

I have many of the retired Stampin Up dies and wanted to show a nice Christmas Box made using the "Fancy Favour" XL bigz die. This box is a really good size to fill up with some yummy Christmas treats and give to someone special.

White Christmas Cards

The card below was cased from Valarie Moody. I really like the style and colours so much, that I decided to keep mine very similar. I did use a different sentiment and snowflake stamps, and also added a wood snowflake embellishment to jazz it up a little more.

I got the idea for this card from Tara Bazata, she no longer does stampin up, so I cannot supply a link for you to view her work. I did change some of the colours and the embellishments that were used.

Father's Day BBQ Gift Set

I am sharing a Father's Day BBQ gift set that I hope to turn into a tutorial when I get some extra time.

I have seen a few apron cards on the web and thought I would try my own version. The card has a nice big pocket at the front which you can use to put a gift voucher or money in. I designed the BBQ box myself and the lid opens up to allow the box to be filled some tasty treats or other goodies.

Holly Jolly Christmas Cards

I have 3 quick and easy Christmas cards to share. The one below was made using the Stampin Up "Jolly Christmas" stamp set in various colours. I added some rhinestones around the deer to bling up the card.

This card was cased from Natasha Zandbergen. I love the different greens used with the early espresso and vanilla colours. I added a couple more trees and made a few subtle changes, but overall the design remained the same.

I cased the below card from a similar one that I found on the web, but unfortunately do not know who designed it, so therefore I cannot give them credit.

Simple & Pretty Butterfly Card

This is one of the quickest cards I have ever made, it was cased from Mary Fish and she shares a quick video on how to make the card. The card only took me about 5 minutes to make.....I think the longest part was deciding what colours and sentiment to use.

No Adhesive Box

Today, I thought I would show another version of my "no adhesive box" a tutorial that I have for sale in my Etsy Shop. As stated in the heading, this box uses no adhesive for the base and the lid, however a couple of glue dots are used to hold the ribbon in place and to stick the flower down.

The box and lid is identical to the original tutorial I made, but I wanted to use a different flower and ribbon for the lid, which gave this cute little box a whole new look.

Casing Christmas Cards

I am sharing several Christmas cards that I made last year. Two of the cards were cased from two very talented Artisan designers for Stampin Up. Both ladies make such beautiful inspiring cards and I enjoy visiting both their blogs on a regular basis.

The one below was cased from Connie Collins. I made some slight changes to the colours, pattern paper, sentiment and the centre of the flower, but the overall design is the same.

This card was cased from Steffi Helmschrott. It is a very simple card and I kept all the elements the same. There is no translation button on Steffi's blog, so sometimes it is a little hard to work out what she has done for her complicated cards.

The next three cards were all cased from Mary Fish. She is known in the Stampin Up world for creating lovely simple designs.
