I used the alphabet press embossing folder on strawberry slush card stock and added a light coat of white chalk ink to give the letters a little lift. The flower was made using velum and the pansy punch, some leaves from the bird builder punch in coastal cabana and a boutique details embellishment for the centre of the flower.

Embossed Birthday Card
I was inspired to make a card similar to the image on page 44 of the 2013/14 annual SU catalogue.

Bow Card
A nice simple black and very vanilla card cased from Penny Smiley. I decided to use the large gift bow die instead of having a small bow.

Bright & Happy Birthday Card
For those of you that don't know me, you will soon work out that I make a lot of cards using crumb cake as the base colour and then add pops of colour to really make the images or embellishments jump out.
For this card I have used the "Gorgeous Grunge Stamp Set" for the grungy background, the new "Hello You Thinlits Dies" for the word happy plus I added a little birthday banner through the letter "y" and also added a range of punched flowers and some tiny buttons. I used ten little banners for the bottom of the card and made sure that my card was exactly 155mm (6 1/8") wide to allow the banners to fit perfectly. The end result really is a bright and happy card.

Punch Art Elephant
It is so much fun using various stampin up punches to create adorable animals. I hope to eventually create some tutorials for my punch art designs when I have a little more time on my hands.
