"Suit Up" Masculine Card

This was the card I made for my son's birthday. He loves "How I Met Your Mother", so I thought this type of card would be perfect. The sentiment was done on the computer.....a popular saying from Barney Stinson.

Casing the Catalogue

I liked the little mini treat bag on page 92 of the Stampin Up annual catalogue so much, that I had to case it. I used the same colours and stamps, but decided to turn it into a card instead, just to make it a little different.

Masculine Cards - Young to Old

Last night I had my 4th club night. I wanted to concentrate on masculine cards as this is always hard to come up with great ideas for the boys/men in our lives.

The below card was cased from Annett Goebel and I added a party hat to make it a little more fun.

For the next card, I was inspired by Lisa Addesa's card, I love how the colours look against the black, but wanted to add a little more detail and make it my own.

Perfect Wedding Card

The "Artisan Embellishment Kit" and the stamp set "Your Perfect Day" makes for a perfect wedding card. I love how the red hearts in the sentiment just gives the card that little pop of colour.

Masculine Cup Cake Birthday Cards

This was the card I made for my Husbands Birthday. The stamp used is from Tim Holtz Birthday Blueprints, and was coloured in using "Prismacolor Pencils", which blend really well and gives a great vibrant look. The rest of the products used were Stampin Up.

The card below uses the new "sprinkles of life" stamp set and the coordinating punch. I have picked colours that are suitable for any bloke.

Perfect Christening Card

A perfect little Christening card for that special occasion. I love how the white ribbon looks on the white card with a subtle hint of colour.

Sunflower Birthday Card

A nice little card that I cased from Linda Aarhus. I used the woodgrain embossing folder on early espresso coredination card stock for the background and the designer frames embossing folder on naturals white card stock for the sentiment. Lastly I added the flower, leaves and some brads for the finishing touches.

Simple Fathers Day Cards

Today, I have a couple more easy fathers day cards to show you.

The card below uses mostly retired Stampin Up products and a couple of other products as well. The base is crumb cake, and the ruler paper is from the "fan fair" designer series set. I used midnight muse card stock for the word "dad" and the torn corrugated look under the ruler paper which was made using my crimper tool. The tools were made using "My Favourite Things - Tool Charms Die Set" (not SU) on early espresso and brushed silver card stock. Lastly a couple of screw brads (not SU) were added to finish the card off.

This card I cased from Amy Kolling, and the only real difference to Amy's card is that I used a different sentiment, buttons and my woodgrain embossing folder is slightly different.
