I used the 'Come sail away memories & more card pack' for the background and the sailing boat, which made it super quick to make. I love the bright colours used and how the lemon lolly colour pops. The card bases were a free product from sale-a-brations a couple of years ago, and I am so glad I managed to get a pack, as they sold out very quickly. I used an old die set to create the bouquet, which works perfectly with the cheerful daisies dies.<br /></p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgYI30sYQWSs5wZFsi8fdFYvRrm8L2qF-HkTv1yjkvzxmmvpjw1D4nmYjlxD29zvQAQtzZ4YzgeFnRY7pu92bfUMnpWSjdPK4VHhO5l-Afldgnjhh-91wtOh5pvgrbR-46JYfK625i77KYKeyj0WIf2m9Ud5uEJ4JkqpeXFJLGaCBMtiTYJIRUIcHZq7Yg/s1063/SplotchDesign_CheerfulDaises7.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1063" data-original-width="1063" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgYI30sYQWSs5wZFsi8fdFYvRrm8L2qF-HkTv1yjkvzxmmvpjw1D4nmYjlxD29zvQAQtzZ4YzgeFnRY7pu92bfUMnpWSjdPK4VHhO5l-Afldgnjhh-91wtOh5pvgrbR-46JYfK625i77KYKeyj0WIf2m9Ud5uEJ4JkqpeXFJLGaCBMtiTYJIRUIcHZq7Yg/w640-h640/SplotchDesign_CheerfulDaises7.JPG" width="640" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEix3VbxuU5jWrCyBSYAU_ZXgZtcCvL3aqv9I1IskZoQ_v6jvZu_0rGsA0m86ldd1dNXoX8pdisgfNcvzW7DK31_fI6SyP4BlxIcrTUUFaouWpIusi6eY38hKxpS1uURB2HAzeI6WqD50u-MUyMUXYGPZpNDLIh-0XMtFP8NVGyrxYmSChf5Co2zgu3PsiM/s1063/SplotchDesign_CheerfulDaises8.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="995" data-original-width="1063" height="375" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEix3VbxuU5jWrCyBSYAU_ZXgZtcCvL3aqv9I1IskZoQ_v6jvZu_0rGsA0m86ldd1dNXoX8pdisgfNcvzW7DK31_fI6SyP4BlxIcrTUUFaouWpIusi6eY38hKxpS1uURB2HAzeI6WqD50u-MUyMUXYGPZpNDLIh-0XMtFP8NVGyrxYmSChf5Co2zgu3PsiM/w400-h375/SplotchDesign_CheerfulDaises8.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><br /><p></p><h3 style="text-align: left;">Products used</h3><div style="text-align: left;"> </div><b>Dies:</b> Cheerful daisies, bouquet bunch, boho indigo<div style="text-align: left;"><b>Cardstock:</b> Whisper white, lemon lolly, granny apple green & crumb cake<br /></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b>Card base:</b> Soft sea foam cards & envelopes pack<br /></div><b><b></b></b><b><b>Inks:</b></b> Verso mark & white embossing powder<b><br /></b><div style="text-align: left;"><b>Sentiment:</b> True beauty <b></b></div><b>Embellishments:</b> Linen thread<br />Splotch Designhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07621077311509071461noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1961528366195459700.post-2153673837455284222024-02-15T20:19:00.001+11:002024-02-16T10:28:41.608+11:00Sunflower to Gerbera Birthday Card<p>The 'Celebrate Sunflowers' stamp set is quite versatile and can be coloured differently to represent other types of flowers. As the name suggests it doesn't take too much time to arrange the die-cuts. </p><p>I first created my background with two lots of DSP and went for an angled design to add a bit of interest. I used 3 of the flower die-cuts in different colours and layered them on top of each other and then added my sentiment on top. Lastly, I added some flowers and a bit of bling...card done in no time!<br /></p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjiluXNIZSjViby_jxuTKZcbAU1ame0qyC5pT63R19U_BUy956PCqG76H4bzeegeAey9HV07b6x1sfIvD_kMJWaOyP7S-kaU6QGD71nvNSxaM28SGQJwh-X2dT4M-HFIpTgIcCFbPYR6rQb9QAbPdzZPwHVYrBUYoiAFVc4XtsKDs6nI7ajJkmTr4GVfNo/s1025/SplotchDesign_TimelessArrangments3.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="886" data-original-width="1025" height="554" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjiluXNIZSjViby_jxuTKZcbAU1ame0qyC5pT63R19U_BUy956PCqG76H4bzeegeAey9HV07b6x1sfIvD_kMJWaOyP7S-kaU6QGD71nvNSxaM28SGQJwh-X2dT4M-HFIpTgIcCFbPYR6rQb9QAbPdzZPwHVYrBUYoiAFVc4XtsKDs6nI7ajJkmTr4GVfNo/w640-h554/SplotchDesign_TimelessArrangments3.JPG" width="640" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhQJc3UHvqtSb8WA2-Wpbzw5I_EJL_1VFW3NiPj_3G4W-gLqpbF_0cua5XKupPwTH_AYsyY4Vh82tjCF88alvw_vtOzUKbeyyBRTtaGTR_2Ota15xAxdPlc2iVim3TQrVYAXZaoo1ReJAaYgJn1m9ZuEnHlf9sfe9AMA5B8_H8buDYMdoa4B7ghcyGBsUI/s1363/SplotchDesign_TimelessArrangments4.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="886" data-original-width="1363" height="260" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhQJc3UHvqtSb8WA2-Wpbzw5I_EJL_1VFW3NiPj_3G4W-gLqpbF_0cua5XKupPwTH_AYsyY4Vh82tjCF88alvw_vtOzUKbeyyBRTtaGTR_2Ota15xAxdPlc2iVim3TQrVYAXZaoo1ReJAaYgJn1m9ZuEnHlf9sfe9AMA5B8_H8buDYMdoa4B7ghcyGBsUI/w400-h260/SplotchDesign_TimelessArrangments4.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><br /><p></p><h3 style="text-align: left;">Products used</h3><div style="text-align: left;"> </div><div style="text-align: left;"><b>Stamps:</b> Timeless arrangements<br /></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b>Dies:</b> Timeless arrangements</div><div style="text-align: left;"><b>Tools:</b> Itty bitty accents punch pack<br /><b>Cardstock:</b> Whisper white</div><div style="text-align: left;"><b>DSP:</b> Heart and home & colour theory<br /></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b><b>Inks:</b></b> Smoky slate</div><div style="text-align: left;"><b>Sentiment:</b> Timeless arrangements <b></b></div><b>Embellishments:</b> White pearls<br /><p> </p>Splotch Designhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07621077311509071461noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1961528366195459700.post-26822786489810571462024-01-08T12:16:00.000+11:002024-01-08T12:16:23.417+11:00Cheerful Daisies Thank You Card<p>The cheerful daisies dies are one of my favourite die sets in the current annual catalogue. I wanted to make the colours go from light to dark, so the card had some depth and a mystical feel about it. It took me a little while to work out all the measurements, and I will do a tutorial at some stage with the instructions when I have some more time on my hands.</p><p>For the owl, I used my water brush and a couple of drops of refill ink in crumb cake and tip top taupe for the head and body. I used my stampin blends for the eyes, beak and feet. I also used a thin strip of a window sheet to hold the owl in place, which makes the owl look like it's flying.<br /></p><p>The tree dies unfortunately are not Stampin Up dies, as I was after a certain size for this card. Since Valentine's Day is only 10 days away, I am sharing a card that will be suitable for the ocassion. I made this card for a sketch challenge for one of my up-line meetings I attended. We are always given either a sketch or colour challenge to complete and bring along to the meeting to share with everyone. I really loved this sketch challenge as it was my style of card I like to make. </p><p>For the tag component, I was inspired by one that <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/CbebjH3KgIo/?epik=dj0yJnU9Z3JPRkM5aVBTM2FNcXpkZjdxQ2VLU0dFRjJxWDFTcHgmcD0wJm49QXUtTXIwYnQ4UjZ0ODQ0aHJ1Y3hpZyZ0PUFBQUFBR1BCeEs0" target="_blank">Madeleine Mrotzek</a> made, but used different colours and changed the sentinment. Madeleine is very talented and makes stunning cards and tags and she often uses beautiful rainbow colours in her work. <br /></p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiu8xrQzu5vdzfZopx25B6Qe70LJAHWP9dcgtVPqS8hf8Og7mTF6JznNn8GOndWd_7JN0vu8saL_Epa9sWzzDJF3m5huYk14Fr7GvZQC0nAPUCLg0lIhOL__cdJZgwowFqo9LdybFUzuZfk0Au2ll8c4bg4ixNqBGby4eQartN0Xq9T_UFBxa8LADbk/s1089/SplotchDesign_DecorativeTag1.JPG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1089" data-original-width="886" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiu8xrQzu5vdzfZopx25B6Qe70LJAHWP9dcgtVPqS8hf8Og7mTF6JznNn8GOndWd_7JN0vu8saL_Epa9sWzzDJF3m5huYk14Fr7GvZQC0nAPUCLg0lIhOL__cdJZgwowFqo9LdybFUzuZfk0Au2ll8c4bg4ixNqBGby4eQartN0Xq9T_UFBxa8LADbk/w520-h640/SplotchDesign_DecorativeTag1.JPG" width="520" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgua1cn32FuNjR04Tl3VkCsmroYtZ-FdHGHrj5QGgQqa7czcAdG4QMIEWJVKwxu74QTj9VVcU-Qeq-B6kq0S54jI5jULIbYFuJwMq2l7dWYWoEkndc2zQBYny73CmNEWay4ajVPYc4GdHpr6dWcdc9MjMwSya_uUcZI38iWZv1T6VxBoG9CXZM_Jrl_/s1248/SplotchDesign_DecorativeTag2.JPG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="886" data-original-width="1248" height="284" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgua1cn32FuNjR04Tl3VkCsmroYtZ-FdHGHrj5QGgQqa7czcAdG4QMIEWJVKwxu74QTj9VVcU-Qeq-B6kq0S54jI5jULIbYFuJwMq2l7dWYWoEkndc2zQBYny73CmNEWay4ajVPYc4GdHpr6dWcdc9MjMwSya_uUcZI38iWZv1T6VxBoG9CXZM_Jrl_/w400-h284/SplotchDesign_DecorativeTag2.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><p></p><h3 style="text-align: left;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span style="font-weight: normal;">Sketch challenge</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: xx-small;"><span style="font-weight: normal;"> </span></span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgKKi7iGnUx7iGwZKM5bYWnEr_mCYTfJeH34lGijsHIiHCvZW3DQskgG8-q-H9b0VfT2TD_bmOXcsN5IHVoaFfu45D_h_0jWRSB_eCvo9PhV6YsjCrhxNaAq6quQnWxeHNOE5f3OKCn1dF63z9Q6yIBeeywdqIvq0YVurW0qM457oYNnnL9DqvNbDPm/s633/Sketch%20Challenge.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="633" data-original-width="495" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgKKi7iGnUx7iGwZKM5bYWnEr_mCYTfJeH34lGijsHIiHCvZW3DQskgG8-q-H9b0VfT2TD_bmOXcsN5IHVoaFfu45D_h_0jWRSB_eCvo9PhV6YsjCrhxNaAq6quQnWxeHNOE5f3OKCn1dF63z9Q6yIBeeywdqIvq0YVurW0qM457oYNnnL9DqvNbDPm/s320/Sketch%20Challenge.jpg" width="250" /></a> <br /></div></div></h3><h3 style="text-align: left;">Products used</h3><div style="text-align: left;"> </div><div style="text-align: left;"><b>Stamps:</b> Painter's palette<br /><b>Dies:</b> Tailor made tags, wreath builder, sports event, sunflower & cherry blossom<br /></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b>Punch:</b> Banner<br /><b>Cardstock:</b> Whisper white, pool party, real red & blushing bride <br /><b>DSP:</b> Snail mail & gold specialty paper <br /><b><b>Inks:</b></b> blushing bride, verso mark & white embossing powder<b><br /></b><b> </b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b>Sentiment:</b> Sealed with love <b><br /></b></div><b>Embellishments:</b> White linen thread (non SU)<br /><p> </p>Splotch Designhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07621077311509071461noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1961528366195459700.post-72202830177726791462023-01-26T15:02:00.000+11:002023-01-26T15:02:16.216+11:00Adorable Owls Birthday Card<p>Sharing a clean and simple adorable owls card which doesn't take too long to make. However, once the colouring was done, it didn't take too long to assemble all the bits and pieces. </p><p>I didn't stray too much from Katie's card, as I felt it was perfect the way it was, but I did make a few slight changes to make it my own. I didn't use as many little branches, and added a side piece of DSP and a strip of cherry cobbler card stock to add a little more interest. I also used a different sentiment and fussy cut around the words.<br /></p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjYR5BUYkO89nW4nBcqwd94uSjZJ-9GRlCOhNZ9n-IB6yq4tMsjNj2O0oXPoPt3UwBVAX_icUI5pOZvYR7B8bp7p2GyB7wcnUkyZUDy_ZLXX_98X6buxEJeuyW7HirG5JJbzVOvhzjKj--3lEZnaeRGBqIR9zYA5yGtbG_9tZVvkZnmQUPoANdgc09n/s1266/SplotchDesign_TreeRings1.JPG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="886" data-original-width="1266" height="448" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjYR5BUYkO89nW4nBcqwd94uSjZJ-9GRlCOhNZ9n-IB6yq4tMsjNj2O0oXPoPt3UwBVAX_icUI5pOZvYR7B8bp7p2GyB7wcnUkyZUDy_ZLXX_98X6buxEJeuyW7HirG5JJbzVOvhzjKj--3lEZnaeRGBqIR9zYA5yGtbG_9tZVvkZnmQUPoANdgc09n/w640-h448/SplotchDesign_TreeRings1.JPG" width="640" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhgQIG4D_5_Gp7GcGPbUSqpg2wpt9UGOMO3UTs2yD7ErZwQSfhXbJBCCsd8HY1waHCnJ2IpOEzCZWILkoNTeHHkEmhhSx5VXXnDVpitnh415W9fFk8aW3vmctWMhv-oSV7zSCYNE5ASVLLvLMyufWNg4mDIi0F_Wmse-6VlPIuJdxJxneGC59iQD3nb/s1216/SplotchDesign_TreeRings2.JPG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="886" data-original-width="1216" height="291" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhgQIG4D_5_Gp7GcGPbUSqpg2wpt9UGOMO3UTs2yD7ErZwQSfhXbJBCCsd8HY1waHCnJ2IpOEzCZWILkoNTeHHkEmhhSx5VXXnDVpitnh415W9fFk8aW3vmctWMhv-oSV7zSCYNE5ASVLLvLMyufWNg4mDIi0F_Wmse-6VlPIuJdxJxneGC59iQD3nb/w400-h291/SplotchDesign_TreeRings2.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><p></p><h3 style="text-align: left;">Products used</h3><div style="text-align: left;"> </div><div style="text-align: left;"><b>Dies:</b> Tree Rings<br /></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b>Embossing Folder:</b> Tree Rings<br /></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b>Cardstock:</b> Very vanilla, soft suede & cherry cobbler <br /><b><b>DSP:</b></b> Neutrals<b><br /></b> <b><b></b></b><b><b>Inks:</b></b> Cherry cobbler<b><br /></b> </div><div style="text-align: left;"><b><b>Stampin blends:</b></b> Cherry cobbler, pink pirouette, crumb cake, SU300 & granny apple green<b> </b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b>Sentiment:</b> Flowing flowers</div><div style="text-align: left;"><b>Embellishments:</b> Brushed bronze metallic dots<br /></div><p> </p>Splotch Designhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07621077311509071461noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1961528366195459700.post-48131037350561380312023-01-15T08:34:00.000+11:002023-01-15T08:34:08.275+11:00Beautiful Angled Scalloped Tri-Fold Wedding Card<p>I have been wanting to try my hand at the angle tri-fold cards for a little while now, as I have seen many of these amazing cards on the web. I also wanted my card to be a tall slimline card that fits nicely into a DL envelope. I have made more complicated cards in the past, so I was sure this one wouldn't be too difficult to master. </p><p>I decided to make a wedding/engagement card, so I could use a new 'congrats' sentiment die I purchased recently...sorry it is not a SU die. I used one of my favourite colour combinations and kept the design fairly simple. The hardest part of the card was doing the scalloped edge around the whole card (except the bottom) and getting the angles correct.</p><p>I also added a different DSP design to the inside left and right sides and the back of the card which I didn't take a photo of...sorry! This helped to cover the bottom edge of the scalloped pieces, so the card looked much cleaner. There is no stamping on this card, as I often like to use different die cuts instead.</p><p>I made quite a few of these cards all in different colour combinations and sizes, and will share them down the track.<br /></p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjkL5L-RlySwA6fHxdlpIvttlWrdszfpY_0Cqn7mg-CnJHU-w1aGQIXL_kBqJwyf2-nfJ1DzGndpZerYJH6fLAFL-xOzXNMJYGqzczSgi20Ha8U1FVGthx0QLvqDkbxiv9CEZdHpWtulNd7ord9U33wW4LRGoE7ogS6ctCAKjnQ0BM9j0UWSuYL3ZdU/s1408/SplotchDesign_CongratsHeart1.JPG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1408" data-original-width="886" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjkL5L-RlySwA6fHxdlpIvttlWrdszfpY_0Cqn7mg-CnJHU-w1aGQIXL_kBqJwyf2-nfJ1DzGndpZerYJH6fLAFL-xOzXNMJYGqzczSgi20Ha8U1FVGthx0QLvqDkbxiv9CEZdHpWtulNd7ord9U33wW4LRGoE7ogS6ctCAKjnQ0BM9j0UWSuYL3ZdU/w402-h640/SplotchDesign_CongratsHeart1.JPG" width="402" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhtoDj_DGi-wruqmPbZi2ZlBW9A9WQk0xdxquq2nSBGJM3flbR05Xcxy0gecXMTAQz9HvH9x7hdQW5ysNApygVvasIS0CR2DsCu9P04yI74FBXmV_D_-btSZ5OoSOb1iCIKiq3ofoulDhBpEzHBG6gIf3pvXWfsGkPvXtWyhFHdq4rsftXGwZ1_9jRd/s886/SplotchDesign_CongratsHeart2.JPG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="788" data-original-width="886" height="356" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhtoDj_DGi-wruqmPbZi2ZlBW9A9WQk0xdxquq2nSBGJM3flbR05Xcxy0gecXMTAQz9HvH9x7hdQW5ysNApygVvasIS0CR2DsCu9P04yI74FBXmV_D_-btSZ5OoSOb1iCIKiq3ofoulDhBpEzHBG6gIf3pvXWfsGkPvXtWyhFHdq4rsftXGwZ1_9jRd/w400-h356/SplotchDesign_CongratsHeart2.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><p></p><h3 style="text-align: left;">Products used</h3><div style="text-align: left;"> </div><div style="text-align: left;"><b>Dies:</b> Stitched be mine, wonderful floral, cherry blossoms<br /></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b>Punch:</b> Itty bitty accents flower<br /></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b>Cardstock:</b> Whisper white, pool party, real red & flirty flamingo<br /><b>DSP:</b> From my heart & silver glimmer <b><b><br /></b></b></div><b>Sentiment:</b> congrats die (non SU)<br /><b>Embellishments:</b> Silver rhinestones & white pearls<br />Splotch Designhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07621077311509071461noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1961528366195459700.post-44785191194836968302023-01-14T08:08:00.000+11:002023-01-14T08:08:14.435+11:00Adorable Owls Birthday Card<p>This card does feature lots of die cuts from different die sets (five to be exact), which I normally don't do too often, but you can substitute any of the floral dies with ones that you already own.</p><p>The background was made using the stitched greenery die, and all the foliage die cuts are from the other four die sets listed at the bottom of this post. I assembled the stems of all the foliage behind the circle piece of card stock and then stuck the owl on the top of the circle. The silver glimmer card stock gives the card some shine which meant I didn't have to use any other bling.<br /></p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjcRJF-jLV6iiDUWsETqS6dyZvFHQCMKYpPa8BEyjNJageDBJcf5lCmpj1ca_3YsPvN-WW9uYmy_CH4DpJfdG-WcDY9yx6BlizbN1eVzxZBliYAq9F1TPL3vHCHcBtxmISxmJ3pbkIE0Ddbd3ctF65c8-7ufoPv_cIJ8a_ZO-wEYqQMn0ZXfLnM_T3m/s1108/SplotchDesign_AdorableOwls3.JPG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="886" data-original-width="1108" height="512" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjcRJF-jLV6iiDUWsETqS6dyZvFHQCMKYpPa8BEyjNJageDBJcf5lCmpj1ca_3YsPvN-WW9uYmy_CH4DpJfdG-WcDY9yx6BlizbN1eVzxZBliYAq9F1TPL3vHCHcBtxmISxmJ3pbkIE0Ddbd3ctF65c8-7ufoPv_cIJ8a_ZO-wEYqQMn0ZXfLnM_T3m/w640-h512/SplotchDesign_AdorableOwls3.JPG" width="640" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgqj0L2mu9f_eKqBWEStGicDKIExCE229wzDItfuoBYZUjEBl_LnIA4joP8nTRuOQ7xer1gO303NeBpBUEDiSBiApYuOrqUpCV2y8Due28jTaxmOLeCK0Y4m3cP8TsASbZUwibIJJxvrH-hxhXKGrHhDWDgxmA8eR76h_r8Oy0reqskd4EOQNqAgrib/s1250/SplotchDesign_AdorableOwls4.JPG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="886" data-original-width="1250" height="284" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgqj0L2mu9f_eKqBWEStGicDKIExCE229wzDItfuoBYZUjEBl_LnIA4joP8nTRuOQ7xer1gO303NeBpBUEDiSBiApYuOrqUpCV2y8Due28jTaxmOLeCK0Y4m3cP8TsASbZUwibIJJxvrH-hxhXKGrHhDWDgxmA8eR76h_r8Oy0reqskd4EOQNqAgrib/w400-h284/SplotchDesign_AdorableOwls4.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><p></p><h3 style="text-align: left;">Products used</h3><div style="text-align: left;"> </div><div style="text-align: left;"><b>Stamps:</b> Adorable owls<br /><b>Dies:</b> Splendid stems, wonderful floral, Cherry blossoms, stitched greenery & foliage frame framelits<br /></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b>Punches:</b> Banner & circle<br /><b>Cardstock:</b> Whisper white, early espresso & silver glimmer paper<br /><b>DSP:</b> You're a peach<br /><b></b><b><b>Inks:</b></b>

I will be promoting both of these products at my next club night...so girls, prepare for cuteness overload!</p><p>The owls did take a little time to colour and cut for this card, so if anyone wants to make this card, then you'll need some patients!</p><p>I am so glad that I kept a couple of older bird stamps sets (bird banter and hello love) as the sentiments from these are perfect to use with the owls and gives you a few more options for your cards. I used the 'A little birdie told me' stamp for the front of the card, and 'It was your birthday' stamp for the inside of the card.<br /></p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgV2vJsB1B3CWMRJ29aV04e3SPy9n5IIewzOZ49HJlNaJAbQIzdi8j535orzDI8M5khigfcwYR5t2m9T9ufh-rAJUUIZvLovRdSvsVBWAUjXq3HMlyKp3ufRVAwUNhiuHY1tUu-UgGcU6niPAmISOqXP8wQlGUhX50KRABiin2oJkJOelwfUf0ZgLRd/s997/SplotchDesign_AdorableOwls23.JPG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="997" data-original-width="886" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgV2vJsB1B3CWMRJ29aV04e3SPy9n5IIewzOZ49HJlNaJAbQIzdi8j535orzDI8M5khigfcwYR5t2m9T9ufh-rAJUUIZvLovRdSvsVBWAUjXq3HMlyKp3ufRVAwUNhiuHY1tUu-UgGcU6niPAmISOqXP8wQlGUhX50KRABiin2oJkJOelwfUf0ZgLRd/w568-h640/SplotchDesign_AdorableOwls23.JPG" width="568" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh1us_wihrNEJCZGJHNkJBIPtlaMssem3KtiKyEy3R2WLjdnJlQp12NTrS-eLBdIhs3AcVWw1od9CGXXJti8ScFAG-vzDCMNJqQmd3HapAeSmuB3_SYqatV21i2Q6O8eYU35UlFa722gv1ynuFYrTXAq5dapBvJyHqcYHGVDZ_Hy7j2XCzA0wE5BizZ/s1308/SplotchDesign_AdorableOwls24.JPG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="886" data-original-width="1308" height="271" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh1us_wihrNEJCZGJHNkJBIPtlaMssem3KtiKyEy3R2WLjdnJlQp12NTrS-eLBdIhs3AcVWw1od9CGXXJti8ScFAG-vzDCMNJqQmd3HapAeSmuB3_SYqatV21i2Q6O8eYU35UlFa722gv1ynuFYrTXAq5dapBvJyHqcYHGVDZ_Hy7j2XCzA0wE5BizZ/w400-h271/SplotchDesign_AdorableOwls24.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><h3 style="text-align: left;">Products used</h3><div style="text-align: left;"> </div><div style="text-align: left;"><b>Stamps:</b> Adorable owls<br /><b>Dies:</b> Tree Rings & word bubbles<br /></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b>Embossing Folder:</b> Tree Rings<br /></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b>Cardstock:</b> Early espresso, basic black & whisper white <br /><b><b>Inks:</b></b> Early espresso, memento black, verso mark & white embossing powder<b><br /></b> </div><div style="text-align: left;"><b><b>Stampin blends:</b></b> Crumb cake, SU300 & granny apple green</div><div style="text-align: left;"><b>Sentiment:</b> Hello love<br /></div><p></p>Splotch Designhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07621077311509071461noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1961528366195459700.post-2598748816954836612023-01-13T09:05:00.000+11:002023-01-13T09:05:48.746+11:00Brightest Beauty Card<p>I was thrilled to see an Australian stamp set in last year's mini catalogue, as most of the stamp sets are very Americanised and are not always suitable. When I saw the Australian wattle, I knew I had to purchase this one. I also loved that it came with dies as well, as I didn't fancy fussy cutting this one out by hand.<br /></p><p>I did the traditional wattle colours for my card, but will try some different colours down the track for the flowers. My card is simple enough that it can be used for any occasion. <br /></p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi0XacPJoNKv8Gy9REHc26rIzvt9FOC-aYxBQubfdQbW3hlVe6T57AuOCkJNtaYxy35bNtG45z0JNAaMWgv7LEAZZJeJPsevMxOb-ytR9Lneg9gvoVbh5whfX_EuEh_lMxfctc-pvnII-ifitWx3T9xOoR1z3TIkkc9LFRxnZv3BKGgFGtPzEG2k16z/s1117/SplotchDesign_BrightestBeauty3.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1117" data-original-width="886" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi0XacPJoNKv8Gy9REHc26rIzvt9FOC-aYxBQubfdQbW3hlVe6T57AuOCkJNtaYxy35bNtG45z0JNAaMWgv7LEAZZJeJPsevMxOb-ytR9Lneg9gvoVbh5whfX_EuEh_lMxfctc-pvnII-ifitWx3T9xOoR1z3TIkkc9LFRxnZv3BKGgFGtPzEG2k16z/w508-h640/SplotchDesign_BrightestBeauty3.JPG" width="508" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEivWTmVlN1KuZYiTabU_wbsRfeYSLEBe8t8Pi26P6esbLaGbwtq5GYU6YqGxmKwVQLit-W7fhCtVgBZKY7LZXV2oR_zJU8i_fUVQ9W4RWp8StySmwwWIT21zuvZOacbR_nRLkEKIyBBA5Pg0N6lMG00Br1mLS-KHeL-MdlaZ9czHKel48sE2RED77Ge/s1032/SplotchDesign_BrightestBeauty4.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="886" data-original-width="1032" height="344" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEivWTmVlN1KuZYiTabU_wbsRfeYSLEBe8t8Pi26P6esbLaGbwtq5GYU6YqGxmKwVQLit-W7fhCtVgBZKY7LZXV2oR_zJU8i_fUVQ9W4RWp8StySmwwWIT21zuvZOacbR_nRLkEKIyBBA5Pg0N6lMG00Br1mLS-KHeL-MdlaZ9czHKel48sE2RED77Ge/w400-h344/SplotchDesign_BrightestBeauty4.JPG" width="400" /></a></div><p></p><h3 style="text-align: left;">Products used</h3><div style="text-align: left;"> </div><div style="text-align: left;"><b>Stamps:</b> Brightest beauty<br /><b>Dies:</b> Golden beauty<br /><b>Cardstock:</b> Whisper white & gold metallic specialty paper <br /><b>DSP:</b> Tasty treats<br /><b><b>Inks:</b></b> Garden green & daffodil delight<b> </b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b>Sentiment:</b> True beauty <b><br /></b></div><div style="text-align: left;"><b>Embellishments:</b> Brushed metallic gold dots & linen thread<br /></div><div style="text-align: left;"> </div>Splotch Designhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07621077311509071461noreply@blogger.com0
